August 2011 Physician Licensure Exam: CIM and UP-Manila got 100% Passing
The results of the August 2011 Licensure Exam has come out. There were 2,131 examinees and 1,605 passed. the passing rate for this year is 75.32%.
Among the top schools for this year is the Cebu Institute of Medicine (CIM). CIM has been consistently on the top school list for years already. This year's performance is a testament that the school is one of the leading med schools in the country. There were 50 CIM graduates who took the exams and all of them are licensed physicians. The other notable school that had a 100% passing is the University of the Philippines Manila. UP Manila graduates dominated this year's topnotchers with 8 alums getting in the top 10 including this year's number 1 Mark Agustin Onglao.
