Cebu Medical Society's Medicine Week Kick-off
The Cebu Medical Society and the Philippine Medical Association celebrated Medicine Week 2011 this week. The doctors kicked off the week with a walk from the Grand Convention Center to the CMS Grounds. The walk was participated by doctors of different specializations.

After the walk, it was exercise time with Fitness First Cebu dance/taebo instructor Fernando.
The doctors showed that they can kick and punch if needed.
But, they can also do the cha-cha at 7 am in the morning.
The wreath-laying followed the early morning exercise then a mass was offerred
Dr. Wyben Briones, past president of CMS talks about the anti-Dengue project that is part of this week's activities.

Dr. Miel once again won in the raffles at the end of the first day.
It was a successful kick-off event by the CMS and there are more activities in store this week.
